Terms of sale

These terms apply when you buy a song pack for Recorder Hero (recorderhero.com): a collection of lessons and songs.

Who sells

Recorder Hero is run by Head Arcade (Gil Rimon; see the legal notice). Payments are handled by Stripe, which sells the song packs on our behalf as merchant of record: it charges you, issues your receipt, and handles VAT and sales tax.

What you buy

A song pack unlocks its lessons and songs in Recorder Hero, on the account you were signed in with, on any device where you sign in. It's a one-time purchase, not a subscription. Everything that is free stays free.

Price and payment

The price is shown before you pay and includes VAT or sales tax where it applies; Stripe may show it in your local currency. You pay once, with the methods offered on Stripe's payment page.

Delivery

The song pack appears in My collection right after the payment goes through.

Right of withdrawal and refunds

If you live in the EU or the UK, you normally have 14 days to withdraw from a purchase. Because a song pack is delivered straight away, at checkout you agree that delivery starts immediately and that you lose this right once it has started.

Even so, we refund any song pack on request within 14 days of buying it, no questions asked: write to contact@recorderhero.com from (or naming) the email of your account. The song pack is then removed from your account.

Who can buy

Purchases are made by adults (16 or older), or by a parent or teacher for a child.

If something doesn't work

If a song pack doesn't work as described, write to contact@recorderhero.com and we will fix it or refund you. Your rights as a consumer under the law are not affected.

Changes

We may improve the lessons and songs in a song pack. If Recorder Hero ever stops, we will tell account holders in advance.

Law and complaints

Portuguese law applies, without taking away any protection the law of your country gives you. You can also use Portugal's electronic complaints book (livroreclamacoes.pt), or the consumer dispute resolution centre of the Algarve, CIMAAL (consumidoronline.pt).
