How to play it
- High F# (F sharp) is high G with one more finger: keep the pinched thumb and holes 1, 2 and 3, and add your right middle finger on hole 5.
- On a German recorder, add the right middle and little fingers (holes 5 and 7), leaving hole 6 open. Set the chart to your recorder's fingering.
Why it squeaks or sounds wrong
- If you hear high G, hole 5 isn't fully covered.
- If you hear a low note, the thumb is closing the whole hole: open a small gap at the top.
Free, in your browser: it listens as you play and shows which finger to fix.
